Problems with ORBX England and UK2000 Manchester

Recommended Posts

Hi All

I am having a problem with ORBX ENG and UK2000 Manchester where there are some duplicate buildings being caused by FTX. This results in buildings being put over jetways so aircraft appear half in and half out of buildings. Have confirmed FTX is the problem by taking a shot with it disabled and enabled as seen below.

Does anyone know how I can resolve this? I'm hoping I can just delete whatever files correspond to those particular buildings? I have my UK2000 entries above my FTX entries in the library.

Many thanks in advance

Martin,

There are several threads in the ORBX Compatibility forum discussing this issue. I believe that the UK2000 sceneries have to be above the ORBX entries in the scenery library and some FTX files have to be turned off.

Have the same problem (created a thread about it some time ago), even though i have the UK2000 scenery above the ORBX sceneries in the library.

Any suggestion?

I started one of the ORBX threads. In addition to placing any UK2000 airports on top of ORBX in the secenery library. Take any "EGCC" files in the ORBX directory and delete them or place them in a custom backup folder.

What I have done and it works great was to remove ADE_FTX_ENG_EGCC.BGL and FTX_ENG_EGCC_objects.bgl from the ORBX\FTX_EU\FTX_EU_ENG_05_SCENERY\scenery folder. I've done the same thing with my other UK2000 airports and it works like a charm.

Hi all

I have tried the fixes above by am still getting the same problem of what I can best describe as green bunkers all around the edges of taxiways and runways.  I have moved my UK2000 EGCC above everything on my scenery list removed both files as suggested and even tried removing the third EGCC file from the ORBX directory any other suggestions.

Many Thanks

Go to the Vector control panel. Third option in the top menu. Move Manchester into the right column. That worked for me.

Guys, there's no Vector control panel, only VECTOR Configuration Tool - Version 1.20

So what exactly has to be done?

Thanks.
