how do assign buttons (Go Flight etc) to operate the F1 Mustan Auto Pilot

Featured Replies

How do I assign buttons like the GF modules to assign either the 182T or the Mustang from Flight 1 to operate its Auto Pilot?

I did what I did to assign GF to operate Reality XP G530W. I basically assigned some key strokes using FSUIPC to the H/W GF Buttons. Then assigned those keys in its ini file under the gauges folder found here F:\FSX\Gauges\flight1_garminG1000_AUX. The Mustang's file is called input.ini and the F1's 182T has its own assignment ini file.

like this

AP_HDG=ALT+END

AP_APR=ALT+HOME

AP_AltSel_Large_Dec=ALT+DOWN

AP_AltSel_Large_Inc=ALT+UP

AP_AltSel_Small_Dec=ALT+LEFT

AP_AltSel_Small_Inc=ALT+RIGHT

But for some reason, its not working. Any ideas?

PS: I have posted this in the F1 Support forum as well..but they are slow in responding..so I am trying my luck here.

Sorry, you don't - it does not support FSX Default Bindings, or FSUIPC Mouse Macro bindings, for the custom features.

Some will work; I believe the standard Heading Bug assignments (+/-) work, but most don't. The internal F1 development team (Mustang, C182T, etc) are not big on key bindings :()....

Hello

It should work, that is what the Input.ini file was provided for, however there are some other ways to interface the Goflight switches.

Go to the Fsuipc forum and download the set of Lua files for the Mustang

http://forum.simflight.com/topic/63155-flight1-mustang-commands-upd-15th-mar-2010/

I have a few of my commands programmed using only Fsuipc mouse macros though and they work ok for me

[Macros]

Module="Flight1_GarminG1000_510.GAU"

1=ALT UP=RX384f0*X55cc

2=ALT DOWN=RX19b40*X55cc

3=FLC=RX196b0*X55cc

4=NOSE DOWN=RX383c0*X55cc

5=NOSE UP=RX19950*X5500

6=SPD BUTTON=RX198e0*X55cc

7=VSPEED=RX19660*X55cc

8=ALT UP SLOW=RX38520*X55cc

9=ALT DOWN SLOW=RX19b70*X55cc
