Narsarsuaq X

Recommended Posts

Hi All

Sadly Flightsim Greenland has closed. You can still buy their Commercial Products via SimMarked.

But their freeware Scenery seams impossible to find.

Does any of you guys have the Freeware Scenery Narsarsuaq X, or know where to get it.

Regards

Henrik,

I got their FSX sceneries. I'll upload the files for you in case you cannot download them until tomorrow.

Just let me know! ;)

Freeware Scenery Narsarsuaq X

I'd be interested too.

Narsarsuaq is a convenient refueling stop flying a light twin from the US to Europe, and I've landed there several times. The last time I was so impressed with the airport that I looked it up on wikipedia. It's even more interesting in real life.

For example, all landings are made from the sea side regardless of winds, and tug boats have to tow icebergs out of the approach path. :)

My first landing there was shortly after I got FSX. I was using real world weather built into FSX, and saw my first thunderstorm. IFR ATC directed me to land from the mountain side of the airport, and I can see why you'd prefer to land from the sea side. "Report runway in sight." I had to go to external view to find the thing!

Hi Guys

Simmerhead:

Hi Guys

I accidently posted the above meaningless answer

Simmerhead: I can get into Flightsim Greenland, But when I try to download I am requested to log in, which isn't possible.

BINA: If you can upload that file without breaking any rules, it would be great.

Please keep me informed!

Thanks in advance

Regards

Henrik

sorry to drag this up. I've just watched a film about this airport on YT and now I have to take my Duke from the UK to the USA. Anyone know where to get this scenery from? The official site is under maintenance so it's a no go...

Good luck with AH. ;) Also, make sure you have update 4.3 installed.

If you ever want to run your virtual aviation business online and with a sense of community, come on fly in FSEconomy.net. It's hell of a gameplay which keeps me and hundreds of fellow pilots addicted to FS for years. ;)
