Looks good, the end of flying on rails is something i think we all want. I hope they improve the stalling too.

I wonder how it will work with Accusim aircraft.

Previously accu feel was off with Accusim planes but now this offers something extra. Will be interested to see if this comes in an Accusim update or if we will start using accu feel in combination with Accusim?

The Accu-Feel enhancements are probably already built in for Accusim aircraft. If not, expect Accusim upgrades.

Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth

This is great timing. I was just about to buy Accu-Feel version 1.

There appears to be a T-38C in one of the segments of the video showing the instrument panel. It would be great to have that aircraft as well.

and will it work with other addons... which is, sadly, not always the case...

Have you tested it with your aircraft?

The latest version, no (latest being #2). But the previous one had some issues with the Sabre and the Eagle E. We put our own shake, rattle and roll in and I guess that causes some conflicts... The only way around it (at that point) was to disable accufeel.

I guess turning those effects in Accu-Feel down to zero didn't heip?

At least you can turn off Accu-Feel for individual aircraft. I've got one where I don't like the effect, but others where I do.

at least. The thing is, and please forgive me if I seem... difficult on this one, but if you're making an addon for other addons... (so to speak) it would be a good idea to check and verify that it plays nice... no? Just saying...

and I won't say anything else here... Good luck and merry xmas to all...

So you're saying they should guarantee support with every single add-on out there? That's ridiculous.

They have no doubted tested with many of them, but sometimes it's just not going to work depending on how that particular developer does things. And that's why A2A includes a way to easily disable Accu-feel for a certain add on.

For what it's with, Accu-feel works 100% with all of my add ons including the MilViz 310r.

The thing is, and please forgive me if I seem... difficult on this one,

You're not being difficult. Besides, you have a reputation for making exceptional aircraft.

The A2A site says they tested it with "over 40 third party aircraft." If your aircraft are using their own special modelling for some of the Accu-Feel functions, then it's certain to interfere. Nothing wrong with that, it's not the first time we've had incompatible add-ons.

So don't worry about it. Your effects probably work better for the aircraft that have them than Accu-Feel. For what it's worth, Accu-Feel is automatically disabled by Accusim for those A2A aircraft that have it.

And a very Merry Christmas to you, too.

I guess what I am saying here is that if we inform them of an issue... and they do nothing... even though we offer to send them the products for integration... what does that mean? Forget about US... what about YOU?

Anyway... nuff said on that one... (shoulda kept my mouth shut...)

No, you shouldn't have! I very much appreciate your comments.

My biggest concern (and the reason I never bought v1) relates to exactly what you're saying here. I have a number of different add-on aircraft from a number of different developers. Many of these have "worked around" various FSX limitations. I'm not a developer and not sophisticated in understanding the nuances of how all of this is done, but I AM more than a bit skeptical about an add-on that "fixes" problems that some of my aircraft may have and others don't, or makes changes that may or may not conflict with what another developer has done. At what point does this break what another vendor worked so very hard to fix, and how am I to know which is what/why/where?

I trust that what A2A does for their aircraft is right (and look forward to being their customer with some of their announced projects), but what they do for my add-ons from other developers? Unless I heard positive comments from Carenado, Milviz, RealAir, well...

Scott

I guess we could have this same discussion about the OpusFSX camera stuff and EZDok. The difference with them and Accu-Feel is that I didn't have to jump through hoops to do a complex setup. I just plugged it in and it ran. If I don't want to use it in a specific aircraft, all I have to do is click a switch in Accu-Feel menu and save. It doesn't affect any of the aircraft's files, it's all contained in Accu-Feel.

Now, if I only ever flew ONE aircraft, and that aircraft was incompatible with Accu-Feel, I wouldn't bother with Accu-Feel. If I'd purchased it, I wouldn't be out much money. But I fly a lot of different aircraft for a few weeks or months at a time, and they're all compatible with Accu-Feel... including the Carenado C337.

Edit: only the Dodosim Jetranger helicopter is incompatible as well as other helicopters. That didn't keep me from buying Accu-Feel.

I'm not sure what you expected A2A to do about your aircraft. They've already included the option to turn off the effects for individual aircraft, so it's not like it's necessary to uninstall it (or remove it from the XML load file). It works both ways, too: you didn't mention any option to disable those effects in your aircraft to be compatible with Accu-Feel... or OpusFSX or EZDok, depending on which ones interfere.
