Man wears 60 clothing items on flight to avoid baggage fees

Featured Replies

I've actually seen people do this already, last July I was flying from Queenstown to Auckland and the guy sitting behind me was wearing all his clothing instead of checking baggage, he had on 4 pants and 8 shirts.

This guy seems to have taken this practice to the extreme:

This is very sad. If you can't afford to check baggage then you shouldn't really be flying.

Maybe he planned on sitting at a window. It gets awfully cold sitting in a window seat at times. Or maybe he was going to tie all the clothes together, make a long rope, and exit the aircraft at cruise altitude......

John

Question is, did he get on his plane without paying baggage charges after security let him go?

I've informed the Guinness editorial staff. Just so you know.

Anything to save a few bucks these days, huh?

Sincerely,

Chase
