December 21, 201213 yr The plane is complex go get it, it has all the systems modeled very well. I love the autopilot functions, navigation systems and all. The 3d graphics are amazing and the handling is from other world. For me is perhaps the best X-Plane model yet. The only thing is you may need a powerful pc to run it. I get sometimes about 20 fps on the ground, in the air is fine. If I may compare this instance of a 727 is far superior than the FSX version. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 2 Alexander Colka
December 21, 201213 yr I´ve got this info from flyjsim forum: "The basically policy around here is we don't support X-Plane betas, and that will never change. However, the 727 Series will work, with limitations and maybe not even guaranteed, in 64 bit right now. We will send out word when X-Plane10.20 is released out of beta on what to expect for 64 bit support for the Q400 and 727 Series." Does it work on 64-bit X-Plane?
December 21, 201213 yr I might consider getting this package as it just looks better This is probably one of the best planes I've ever seen, on any platform. Regards; Fritz
December 21, 201213 yr This is probably one of the best planes I've ever seen, on any platform. Regards; Fritz I agree, I think it's even slightly better than the 777 Worldliner and CRJ 200 JROLLON. But last night I flew the crj in cold conditions and the windows froze, it looked awesome like in the video below in my signature.
December 22, 201213 yr This is probably one of the best planes I've ever seen, on any platform. Regards; Fritz I have to agree. You said exactly what I was thinking. This is the best aircraft ever made for any platform; FSX or X-Plane. My wife got it for me as a Christmas present. She got me the aircraft, CIVA and liveries because she loves me. This is the most beautiful aircraft that I have ever seen in a flight simulator, and it flies just as beautifully. I am using it in the latest Xp10 Beta, but in 32bit (haven't tried it in 64). I am also using TrackIR with Sandy Barbour's "Pilot View" to get in the Flight Engineers seat and other views within the cockpit. It works perfectly (: Also Pilot View gives it just the very slightest vibration, which adds a lot to the realism. Is it possible for a newly released aircraft to be bug free? As far as I can see, this one is. Robert Yunque

Man, it took me some time to get it up and running from cold and dark (I would love a step by step pdf with pictures..). But the cockpit is simply put gorgeous, I would say that the XPX cockpits nowadays look better than the FSX counterparts. I have only tried the bird in 64bit and it seems to work just fine. Performance is excellent in 64b. Is TrackIR 32 bit only? I have one of those laying around somewhere.. Might have to start using it once again. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD Here is a video on starting the 727 from CS, which is the same I have been flying in FSX for a long time and have most every good addon, but this 727 from FlyJSim surpasses all of them and is so insanely detailed that I spent much of my time last night, just panning around and admiring it. It just looks like you could jump right into the seat! TrackIR works good with the 64bit version of X-Plane 10. I hope that "Pilot View" will also work. That would be great to be able to fly the 727 in 64bit with TrackIR and Pilot View. Robert Yunque

I read somewhere (can't remenber where.. might been a comment on the xsimreviews) about someone being disappointed about the 3d VC. My thought was like "Huh? There isn't anything better out there...?". I have never tried "pilotview".. but.. what differs pilotview from the "Ctrl + [number on numpad]" already available in XPX? The only thing better would be a full motion simulator in your living room I have never tried "pilotview".. but.. what differs pilotview from the "Ctrl + [number on numpad]" already available in XPX? With TrackIR, I couldn't get the number pad keys to work. Maybe I might be doing something wrong, but with "Pilot View" handling TrackIR, it seems much smoother than going through XPX. Also "Pilot View" has the feature of putting a slight vibration into the cockpit, which makes it so real looking. Robert Yunque
December 22, 201213 yr Also "Pilot View" has the feature of putting a slight vibration into the cockpit, which makes it so real looking. A kind of a "cinema-verité"-effect? Richard 7950x3d | 32Gb 6000mHz RAM | 8Tb NVme | RTX 4090 | MSFS | P3D | XP12
December 22, 201213 yr Yes, well they call it "Force Effect" you can set it up to vibrate as much as you want it to, but turning it down all the way seems the most realistic because, unlike Opus or EZCA used with FSX, I'm not really sure that this effect has anything to do with the feedback of the aircraft. It is just kind of an allusion, but it seems to add to the cockpit environment in VC. Robert Yunque
December 22, 201213 yr Can somebody explain what is so special about this plane? I am curious, but also careful. I bought addons a couple of times becouse of good marketing. Somebody says that is maybe the best addon plane ever for any sim... So, how is this 727 compared to Leonardo Maddog and PMDG NGX and MD11? Zeljko Budovic

The systems are not to compare to a modern aircraft such as 737NGX. And that for me is one of the special things. This particular one from FJS is really special. Superb graphics and detailed complex systems, but most of all it is such a joy to drive it. If you are into 727 you would not make mistake to get this one. Jan Betlach

[ I can already see rocks being thrown at me for posting this, but let me answer you anyway ] If you're an hardcore simmer - and judging from you referencing addons like Maddog or PMDG you certainly are - don't expect simulation depth (systems-wise) comparable to the best FSX addons. While FlyjSim 727 may be one of the best airliners for X-Plane at the moment (or maybe even the best), it is still lacking when compared to Maddog or PMDG. X-Plane and it's 3rd party addons are constantly evolving in the good direction, but we're not there yet. As opposed to what others may have wrote here (or will), FlyjSim doesn't have all of it's systems simulated. Period. Regards, Radek
