Boeing or not going

America needs a UK2000 type developer

Recommended Posts

There are so many smaller airports that would be great to have in the FSX world. Gary and his UK2000 scenery have done magic for the UK. The US needs a developer like him. Someone who releases top quality airports that nobody else has done. SLC, PDX, SEA, ONT, OAK, SNA, LGB, VNY, etc. Here's hoping.

Agree! I would love to see smaller airports where Southwest flies, so I can make the most of my NGX and see them reproduced in UK2000 quality.

Yes some of those regional spots would be nice. But in reality, we have no shortage of US destinations in FSX.

I really miss KPVD from FS9. Vauchez version was stellar...

The big airports, yes there are a good number. But Europe is the most covered by far. We only have LAX, LAS, SJC, SFO, PHX in the west. Midwest/South only has STL, ORD, MDW, DFW, MIA, FLL

That's not really that much for how big the US is. In Europe, you have basically every medium and big airport in every country.

I agree, there should really be some more airports for the US. For example, I'd like to have a nice PDX, SAN, and maybe SDX/KSEZ, the last two would be great with some of the landscape around it modeled, like ORBX do for their airports, or even better: FlyTampa Dubai style. But I'm afraid that's only wishful thinking.

It's all relative to the beholder I guess. In my eyes I may be "a poor man" while others less fortunate may see me as "very wealthy".

As it stands right now, we don't have ANY big airports for Canada (CYVR, CYUL almost done tho). So that is a poor showing really...

Some others not mentioned here that make the USA look like the "wealthy guy" in terms of airports provided for FSX:

KPHL (freeware), KGRB (freeware), KMCO, KDCA, KIAD, KLGA, KCVG, KBUF, KTPA, KMYR, KEYW, KMCI, KBOS, KJFK, KDEN, KSFF, KJAC, not to mention the non lower 48 of PHLI, PHNL, PHOG, PHKO, PHTO, PAKT, PANC, PASI, PAKW, PAWG, PAPG, PAFE and PAFA

As you can see, you have way more many routes for SWA flights than we would for WJA. ;)

(KPDX would be sweet!!)

FlyTampa would be my choice. Their airports are amazing. I hope that KSAN and KSEA are rebooted.
