January 3, 201313 yr Wow thanks for this, weird seeing our hobby in the news, not an owner of xplane but this makes me want to support it.
January 3, 201313 yr I supported Austin in is fight for Patent Trols the moment he first asked for it. I admire his perseverance! Flying gliders since 1980 Flightsimming since 1992 AMD Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB, 1 TB and 500 GB nvme2 SSD drives, HP 27" 60Hz LED monitor @ 1920x1080, T16000, Hotas from old X52 Pro, Saitek Combat Rudder Pro (2010 model)
January 4, 201313 yr What concerns me is that he said he would spend his money to the last Pennie to win this lawsuit, and while it would be a victory for him, would be very bad for the X-Plane community, since X-Plane development would take a huge hit with that money going elsewhere. But I support his fight, hope they can reach a solution without spending millions of dollars. Alexis Mefano

January 14, 201313 yr I get the impression that Austin is obscenely wealthy and won't be running out of money any time soon even if he has to burn through a few million in a lawsuit.
January 14, 201313 yr I think Austin is a lot more worried with his new applications for RL flying than any other thing. The projects look great of course, like the virtual co-pilot, but the poor XP10 users would like him back with some more core development/fixes ;-) Flying gliders since 1980 Flightsimming since 1992 AMD Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB, 1 TB and 500 GB nvme2 SSD drives, HP 27" 60Hz LED monitor @ 1920x1080, T16000, Hotas from old X52 Pro, Saitek Combat Rudder Pro (2010 model)
