I've gone back to Windows 7 but while I was running Windows 8 (64bit) I had no issues with the NGX.

I've been running the NGX along with all my other add-ons on Windows 8 for over a month now and haven't had any problems, I'm really enjoying the general performance improvements over Win 7. One thing to be aware of though there is a 'disappearing controller' issue that pops up in FSX for a lot of people running Win 8 including myself. I've now gotten around this issue now by running FSX in Win 7 compatibility mode as well as configuring all my control axes directly via FSUIPC full version and completely disabling them in FSX.
