Who makes the best Boeing 777 and 787?

Featured Replies

These are 2 of my favorite commercial planes. I know Captainsim 777 is probably the best one you can get, but I also heard that PMDG is about to release their own 777? If that's true I am very excited and can't wait to get my hands on it. PMDG planes are extremely detailed and I love it! I really wish they made the 787 as well.

Does anyone know what the best 787 is? Something that is on par with or above the PMDG's models?

ASUS ROG Maximus Hero XII ▪︎ Intel i9-10900K ▪︎ NVIDIA RTX 3090 FE ▪︎ 64GB Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro ▪︎ Windows 10 Pro (21H1) ▪︎ Samsung 970 EVO Pro 1TB NVME SSD (OS Drive) ▪︎ Samsung 860 EVO 2TB SATA SSD ▪︎ Seagate 4TB SATA HDD ▪︎ Corsair RMx 850W PSU

The best 777 wil undoubtebly be the PMDG one, but no-one really knows when that is coming out. The best 787 in the near future will probably be the QualityWings one, which is currently in development. For now there is always the POSKY 777, but I'm not sure if there is a good freeware 787.

The POSKY 777 is probably the best freeware 777, and currently Captain Sim the best of the commercial products. However, the cockpit of the POSKY aircraft is limited, and the instrumentation on the Captain Sim aircraft is not fully functional - enough to fly, but the PND and FMC are not yet fully working. The final Version 1.00 will probably rectify that.

I do not like any of the freeware 787 aircraft at present, and have begun using and painting the AeroSim 787 - expensive because it doesn't have a good FMC and flight planning is via the standard FSX flight planner. However, the modelling is pretty good, and there are a large number of repaints available for it. Until a better product is available with a really good cockpit, this is the one I am using.

Flight Simmer since 1983 - loving the brilliant Quality Wings 787 and all PMDG models!!

I agree with the other comment that CS 777 is the best 777 out there until PMDG 777 comes out . AeroSim 787 is expensive but the model is good but the VC is not 100% functional. In the near future maybe this or next year(I hope) Quality Wings 787 will be the best 787 out there. I have seen photos of the airplane and the plane is very well modelled including the VC.

Gonna go out on a lim here and say...

Boeing.

Best 777 currently available is probably the Aerosim one. But wait theres another just around the corner (http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10151227952174639.455995.84268889638&type=1)

And the best 777 available for FSX is probably the Captainsim one, however its far from complete, I do own this but yet to make a full flight in it. And as they saying, PMDG is just around the corner. (

Imho the best 777 is the Captain Sim version.

I have it and with each beta update it is getting better.

Great VC , but you need a fast pc to have a good framerate.

The sounds are from TSS.

Several features need to be implemented for version 1, but the idea of letting the "outside world" users test it before releasing it was a good idea.

With every addon released there will be several updates as no pc is the same and bugs will turn up.

When the PMDG 777 will be out I will be buying that one as well.

Even if it's the same aircraft it will feel a little different B)

Captain sim is bringing one more update out and thats v1.0 it should be fully working. Great I have bought this aircraft since it's inception. it's just the waiting on the last proper version release which shouldnt be too long from what they saying in the forum.

I do like the idea captain sim letting us see what it looks like but i prefare it to be fully working and cannot wait to see what the finished product would be like considering i cannot even do a flight with it yet!

I am certainly waiting for the PMDG 777 that looks awesome i'm drooling at the sight that it's going to be in my hanger shortly (Hopefully) "Aparently it's only around the corner"

I have most of their products and cannot fault one of them , they all work brilliant (PMDG that is)

best payware out there is Aerosim 787, it's good nice looking aircraft but not completly usable i would suggest to wait on Quality Wings 787 now thats going to be on heck of a detailed aircraft use seen the screenshots?

Well it will probably always have some bugs but to me it's fully working if I can fly longhaul flight from airport A to airport B using autopilot and mostly normal procedures.
