Taxiway AI traffic keeps distance to my plane

Featured Replies

Dear all,

I have noticed ever since I got FSX that fellow a/c on the taxiways keep a distance to my own plane as if I had the plague. It doesn't matter which aircraft I'm using, be it A320-series, A380 or EMB-190. It's constant stop-and-go for all planes behind me, ahich also cloggs up radio traffic. I know this problem didn't exist in FS9.

Any ideas where I can set anything straight (like aircraft radii or sth...)? Or is it a scenery problem (mostly Aerosoft MegaAirports)?

Thanks for any help!

CF

Image removed. Exceeds 1600W and far exceeds 400KB weight limit.

I get this all time too. The constant "hold position", "continue taxi" messages on the ground channel never stops during my taxi.

Love to find a fix for it.

I believe there was a thread about this in December or so. The conclusion, if I remember it right, is that there's no fix for that. It's just normal FSX behavior. Give me a minute to find the thread.

Here is one. That's not the one I was looking for, because it's been me here, who claimed that it's normal FSX behavior, but since I've not been corrected yet, I think that I'm right.

Anyways, if I find the other thread, I'll post the link to it here, too.

Flo

If this behavior annoys you go to the Map and change your heading by one degree.

This will reload AI and it will take a few minutes for them to catch up to you.
