January 22, 201313 yr Love your runway textures! For your airport buildings project - over time I have become a bit disillusioned with high detail airport addons, because you end up feeling restricted on where you fly, and you 'rule out' flying to default airports because they do not compare well to the high detail payware ones.... ....so I love the idea of an alround upgrade to default FSX airport building and would definitely buy.

I have few payware airports mostly from Aerosoft, and only for "exotic" locations, like Mallorca X, Corfu X, Santorini X etc, so when you fly from default EDDM to any of these payware exotic locations it is only case when it feels right. Rest of airport in Europe are default, and that default textures are killing me. January 22, 201313 yr @777fan Taxiway texture is mine I would LOVE to have your taxiway texture! Is this something you are going to sell later? I would paypal you $5 right now for it. I love it. AJ Pongress
January 22, 201313 yr Author Commercial Member Yes, that taxiway texture will be a part of Airport Overhaul X package, so I guess you must be patient for some time until the product is finished. January 22, 201313 yr Author Commercial Member I played today with runway detail textures, wanted to add grooves and stuff. What do you think? Current system: ASUS PRIME Z690-P D4, Intel 12900k, 32GB RAM @ 3600mhz, Zotac RTX 3090 Trinity, M2 SSD, Oculus Quest 2.
January 22, 201313 yr The grooves should go across the runway to aid in drainage of water off to the edges. Also, any chance of making a choice of grey and a light parchment color. I drive runways everyday at work and never see this color grey. I appreciate your work but really want to see a more accurate color. I'll see if I can find a picture of what I mean. Thank you, Tom

January 22, 201313 yr Author Commercial Member No problem, I will rotate it. I can't change the color, they depends on runway texture (in this case from REX), not runway detail texture (shown above). I will make a proper concrete runway texture with proper coloring in later stages. Thanks for a heads up. January 22, 201313 yr No problem, I will rotate it. Do not make ANY changes without at least three sources of documentation. The same question has come up many places about freeway grooves and why they never go sideways. Hook Larry Hookins Oh! January 22, 201313 yr Author Commercial Member I think this is good example as eemer posted also. Current system: ASUS PRIME Z690-P D4, Intel 12900k, 32GB RAM @ 3600mhz, Zotac RTX 3090 Trinity, M2 SSD, Oculus Quest 2.

January 23, 201313 yr I think this is good example as eemer posted also. That looks like asphalt but the grooving is correct. Tom
