I am not aware of a way to read the contents of the CDU screen directly.  The PMDG_NGX_Data structure in the PMDB_NGX_SDK.h header file shows all of the values that can be read.  It includes all of the annunciator lights on the CDU but not the text contents of the display.

Great thread, nice to have my toggle switches below the throttles (saitek) working as start lever idles, also those codes are simply to easy.

I tried Linda but am the only one that seems to find FSPUIC just as easy? maybe its because Im only setting a few controls and buttons only ..

Unbelievable that it took me this long to find this thread,

I have been using FSUIPC for the levers, and Linda for the switches for a few years now, but was never able to figure out how to assign the engine start levers to my CHProducts TQ. Tried the mixture and Ctrl+Shift+F2.F4 without success. If I got the lever in the vc to move then it was only one way.

This evening I was just surfing Flight Simulator forums, and decided to give the search for a resolution another try.

Well and behold I ended up at this thread, and despite the late hour, I just had to load up the sim to give this one a go.

YAHOO!! I finally have the engine start levers move correctly with the axis of my CHProducts TQ. Now all 6 levers are working as intended (Spoilers, Eng 1 Start, Throttle1, Throttle2, Eng 2 Start, Flaps).

Now I can use the toggle switches for other commands, lol.

Oh boy. Up early tomorrow for another fun flight.

Larry, thanks for the effort yo listing the PMDG specific command codes.

As you can see, after a few years it is still valued.

A day without laughter, is a day without living.

What is the button # for the click spot that engages the autothrottle? Not the toggle switch to arm it.

Full names in the PMDG forums please.

I don't understand your question, the A/T is engaged by the selection of an appropriate automatic flight mode if armed. For example TOGA, VNAV or  FLCH.
