GSX/AES not working..then please report it here

Recommended Posts

Make sure the line looks like this:

EnableAnnouncements=1

UseVoxScripts=1

DisableNagging=0 //(set this to 1 to prevent Copilot monitoring your flying)

GroundServicesMode=GSX

NoBadLanguage=0 //(set this to 1 to prevent detection of mild insults)

Or AES if you are using AES instead of GSX

It does indeed. We are referring to the mce.ini file in the installation folder correct?

Scratch that, I found the correct file and made the same modifications and all is well now.

Hello.

I'm a new MCE user. I'm having a problem regarding GSX. I made this

configuration but when i request for example Ground Pushback to the left,

the copilot always say "We doesn't establish contact with ground". Am i missing

some step?

Thanks.

Regards,

Galaio

Please start with saying something like 'ground crew from the deck' - You will obtain a contact with the ground this way and You can ask for pushback afterwards

GroundServicesMode=AES in mce.ini

This should be done here ....\users\username\appdata\roaming\Multi crew experience.

(But you must 1st tick the "show hidden folders")

This should NOT be done in your main mce folder.

For AES or GSX voice interaction you'll need to be running the Ultimate Edition.

I do not know why but by removing all the line beginning with "/ /
 in mce.ini, it works

exemple

[WINDOW]
Left=12
Top=5
NoActivate=1 //(1 to make sure MCE doesn't take the focus out of the sim, when the UI is clicked, 0 otherwise)
NoSound=0 //(set value 1 if you want to cust the various UI sounds emitted when clicking buttons or MCE minimises)
NoFullScreenDraw=0 //(set to 1, to avoid the occasional graphics artefacts than can happen when MCE UI tries to draw, and the sim is in full screen mode)
StartToTray=0 //(set to 1, and every time MCE starts, the UI will not appear unless you click on the icon in system tray)

[WINDOW]
Left=12
Top=5
NoActivate=1
NoSound=0
NoFullScreenDraw=0
StartToTray=0

Dear FS++  :

     I am a new user of MCE.  I purchased your program about a month ago so I should have your latest version.  One problem I have is when I start MCE, simon introduces himself and all seems as it should.  When the time comes, I call or Jim in my case, because that is the name that is introduced, I call,"  Jim,request cattering".   Jim replies as he should, then he calls CC.to send catering truck.  Well, the is a no show.  I have to call it with Ctrl.-F12.  Then the truck shows up and doors open automattically as they should.  The same goes for all commands.  Jim responds but no action.    Thanks for help.  S. Probably caused by simulator losing focus at some stage (when ramp agent tries to select relevant menu).

Issue was confirmed under Prepar3D V2.

Luckily a new update has been released today (2.5.9.4).

Confirm all is fine with GSX, and what sim are you running?

I am running FSX with all service packs.  The site that you sent me to has a Demo  version.  Do I download that or is there another location to download the latest version?  If the Demo is correct, do I download, then delete the old version first before installing the new?  Thanks S. Sumner.
