American Airlines 777-300ER Roll-Out

Though I'm no American, that livery is really starting to grow on me! That looks really nice, thanks for sharing it.

Agreed, at first I was unsure about the new paint, but that is one gorgeous T7.

Tell me about it! I'm Irish and I think I'm in love with it (maybe a little too far but hey!)

It really does look great on the T7 ;)

For I think the 3rd or 4th time, simply:

I love it!

Edit: Click on that picture and tell me that tail is not sweet!

If I was an American in a foreign country and going home after a long and weary trip, that livery would bring tears to my eyes!

It isn't only about how beautiful the airplane is, it is more about what it means. If American's plan was to trigger the embedded emotions of patriots with a flying rendition of "America the beautiful", mission accomplished.

As a loyal Canadian I too can proudly hum that tune on behalf of our closest neighbour and best friend. "American" is being American, and are proud of it."

About time!

We need more pics and a few aircraft with this livery on the ramp before I'd get all googly eyed over it. I have a 737-800 AI repaint with this livery in FS and when you get a few of them on the ramp that tail really looks weird (especially sitting next to the old AA livery). It grew on me at first then went south when I saw a few of them on the virtual ramp so the verdict is still out.

I took a few pictures with my phone the other day after they brought it out of the hangar. It was too far away from our ramp to get a clear shot. One thing that was evident is that is one long airplane. I was hoping to get a chance to see it taxiing past our ramp, but they never left the hangar area

Beautiful airplane and paint. Great to see American getting the 300ER.

It really does look quite dapper on the 300ER ;)
