Archer II by Carenado and other gauges

Featured Replies

Hello,I am just doing some experiment, I changed all Carenado radio gauges to Dreamfleet C152 and C177 gauges (King radios, transponder, DME, audio panel). Works just fine, but then I noticed that with those new gauges, when I tune the radios from the knobs the frequency that changes is USE freq, not STBY and I can't find a way why it tunes the wrong item. I don't know if its a Carenado issue that can be changed from some configuration file. The same gauges are just fine with Dreamfleet planes. Thanks!

off the top of my head, there is a radios section in aircraft.cfg, which sets up the stack's interface with fs9, specifying properties and allowing access to individual radios. i think standby frequency is covered there, too. the default aircraft.cfg files should have some annotation in that section, look up the details

Georg,Like Vilk said, go to your aircraft.cfg and find the Radios section. Here's the Radios section of the default C172:// Radio Type = availiable, standby frequency, has glide slopeAudio.1 = 1Com.1 = 1, 1Com.2 = 1, 1Nav.1 = 1, 1, 1Nav.2 = 1, 1, 0Adf.1 = 1Transponder.1 = 1Marker.1 = 1Make sure that your Com & Nav sections have the second "1" present. Hopefully that solves things.:-)Happy flying,Kevin

Got it working! Thanks a lot.
