Hello everyone

My name is Harry Grant, I have been away from Flt simming for some time now, but have returned, I have FS2004, (can't run FSX, I tried, my computer can't handle it) and recently reactivated my license for ASE, I just have a basic question, about those Graphic snapshots, that ASE request after you load a flt plan, Do you even have to have these graphic snapshots?, does'nt ASE still depict weather phenomenons whether these images are installed or not? My other question is, How do I install these snapshots, since I don't have any other programs to use with FS2004 in order for ASE to aquire the textures from?

Thanks in advance for your time.

WB Harry! No they are not needed. It is a means to save some time for those people who prefer to load different themes for different situations. If you have no means of adding cloud textures, FEX, REX, XGRaphics, etc. then you will not be able to utilize the snapshot function. It takes a "snapshot" of your current texture theme( and more) but if you never change it, no need for snapshot.

HTH,

Vic
