February 7, 201313 yr Seems the X10 is sold out everywhere. After watching a few videos, I'm impressed, the BB Hud and Peek feature are very smart. More work I can see and do with less phone tapping the better. I think they are back in the game. I'm more excited about the Q10 QWERTY version myself. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=bVfAp2osY7k
February 7, 201313 yr Just read a review and it basically said its really good with exception of the Apps (of lack of) and the lousy camera. Hopefully there is a SP1  Mark CYYZ
February 7, 201313 yr Author Lack of apps? From what I understand the BB10 can run most Android apps through an emulator. No clue how good it is or works however.
February 8, 201313 yr While it is a good offering, I think it is too little, too late for them. I used to be a Blackberry fan, and ran several BES Servers for the company I worked for. But just last week my wife and I upgraded our phones. She chose the iPhone, I chose the Motorola Droid Maxx HD. The only constant is change, no? Always remember to Find Your FUN! -Bob
February 8, 201313 yr Lack of apps? From what I understand the BB10 can run most Android apps through an emulator. No clue how good it is or works however. So why not just buy an Android phone then? And why would developers write apps specifically for the new Blackberries? Not really a good situation in the long run. At the moment it emulates Android 2.3, so it's a little old right now. They will be putting put and update to bring it up to 4.0 or 4.1 though. It does look like a solid smartphone, but it also doesn't seem to have anything truly amazing that would make most people want to switch from iOS or Android. The Balance feature does look interesting for those that use a smartphone at work. I hope it does help them to survive and come up with an even better second version. More competition would be good for Apple and Google.
February 8, 201313 yr Author Personally, the Q10 is what I would want. Instant type-ability and keyboard shortcuts are the big draw for me. Hope they are smart and allow users to configure their own key shortcuts. But if one wanted a regular, large touch screen phone, yeah, might as well get an Android.
