LatinVFR San Diego released

So I bought it and love it. Nicely detailed airport and surrounding area and works flawlessly with Megascenery Socal. Marginal fps hit for me.

It's not flawless with my SoCal:-( I can only use it if SoCal not activated, which sort of defeats the object for me.

Thank you all for the support and for the strong positive response from the community.

I understand the initial reaction to the concerns regarding performance because of KMIA. This airport (KSAN) was tested significantly by many people before release and we made sure no performance issues came up. And so its proven by the feedback by the customers after release. And with hundreds of custumers already and none relaying problems with performance (just one with FS2004) we can assure anyone that no performance problems are present in this scenery, despite its detail.

We are working on an significant free update to KMIA to improve most importantly performance and other things which we think that for a pawyare scenery shouldn't have and adding some new things that we did for KSAN on texturing and modelling. So by next month we should have it out and hopefully everyones concern regarding KMIA should be resolved.

As for KSAN, not much to fix as of yet just the ILS frequency for runway 09 which was wrong, so in a few days we should have that out with the update along with some small terrain issues and we wish to first get more feedback on that note.

thanks!

Hey Ricardo, thanks for coming on here to help. I've discovered a workaround for my issue. If I turn OFF aircraft shadows on the ground, the problem goes away. Will still send pics, they dont show it the way a video would. As I 'pan' around the aircraft, it become VERY apparent.

How about this for service guys... Within just a few hours of stating here that it didn't work on my setup, Ricardo at LatinVFR has come up with a proper fix.

Now THAT is what I call customer service. Thanks Ricardo - you're a gent!

Do you have the same problem Dirk? Bleed through of Socal around the aircraft point?

My bleed issues are around the marina and cargo area near the bayside (close to American Eagle gates).

Around the plane and runway/taxiway looks fine.

I am using MSX So Cal.

Hi Altstiff,

If the fix I published doesn't help, send me screenshots of the issues please to [email protected]

Will do Ricardo.

For the record folks. It performs well on my rig.

I have not bought this one yet, I referred to the same problem with another payware KSAN with MSX SoCal.

If LatinVFR fix this I'll buy their's.

Thanks,

Dirk.

Well. it's certainly fixed on my machine Dirk. I really can't find fault now with either the product or the developer.

It does not bring my PC to it's knees, although obviously there IS an impact compared to default SAN ;-)

It's a lovely looking piece of software. IMO, only 2 or 3 devs fall into the catagory of supplying what i'd describe as a works of art, and this is in that group. And no, I'm in no way connected to LatinVFR, other that having just one other of their airports - Toncontin.

Sold.

Thanks,

Sorry, Ricardo - It was asked by DanW already, and maybe you missed the post, but this is important for a growing number of FSX-ers -

.....is KSAN DX10-compatible?

Many Thanks,
