AOTD for 2/11/13 - Wailua Falls

Featured Replies

Back to Hawaii for another waterfall. I believe this one is a bit more significant than some of the others we've found.

Enjoy.

There is a Wailua Falls on Kauai also and it feeds the Wailua River.

This one is on Maui. From what I've read, the one on Kauai is the one warriors used to jump from.

Thank you.

Rick

Waterfalls are cool, but bridges are even better.

Luis, I had a feeling you would find this bridge also. :LMAO: :LMAO: Back at Hana. I also just received my "Master of Destruction Award" for 1,000 crashes. Some distinction to be proud of.

Another cache I picked up without ever seeing. I hate that. I found out where the waterfall was and kept flying up and down the hilside until it registered. I flew the RV-6 (just to take a little break from the Cub) from the Big Island, at dawn, to Maui. Very pretty. It's nice to see all that green (and unfrozen water!) after all the gray and white of wintertime Alaska.
