Just wanted to say I totally get what Dudley was saying as for me as a sim pilot it would be like learning something new by swapping aircraft every flight. FSX is fly by wire, trainer aircraft aren't so can see exactly why during the period until solo you'd not want to use FSX.

 

What's the fuss about GPS its just technology like radio nav and the mk1 eyeball before that, use what's appropriate at the time.

 

BTW am thinking of taking some trial flights in a 152 but unlike in a sim I'm never going to fly a p51 or c750 in real life.
