Please could you tell me where to find the pdfs of the FCOM, FCTM etc? There is nothing apart from other pdfs under C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\PMDG\747400\Operating Manual

I believe the B747 AOM contains FCOM and FCTM content, and there are no separate manuals. I know there are official training materials available on web sites such as SmartCockpit.

There are manuals for the PMDG 747 400X and they are in the PMDG folder in the Microsoft Flight Simulator folder under Microsoft games. There are also lesson files for download at the PMDG web site.

Start -> All Programs -> PMDG Simulations -> [747 folders]

If you right click on one of the shortcuts, you can tell Windows to open the containing folder.
