Why is this happening?

I recently reinstalled my FSX and now I have strange "block" coastlines like this - any thoughts?

301200 - Global + Vector, 303039 - Open LC EU + England, 317055 - Scotland, 325640 - Southampton, 345294 - Wales, 350530 - Ireland, 378458 - Norway, 379681 - Sumburgh, 406229 - Open LC North America, Alaska and Canada, 439617 - Australia SP4, 447800 - NZ North Island, 447804 - NZ South Island

Try updating UT. Or reinstall/repair. If UT has a user interface see if there's an update option.

Isn't FSX the strangest of programmes?

 

I started her up today, flew across the same coastline and all is perfectly normal. I tried introducing other software - no problems! Even started through Active Sky - still perfectly normal!

 

I guess it was a glitch that happened yesterday and I will never know why!

Looks like the 'problem' was happening as ASE was updating weather stations. That could have been taking up resources. Glad it is working now.
