What's your level of immersion? [Airliners]

I guess something like 2.5. It depends on what I am flying.

None of the above

Rarely increases the sim rate

Never uses real world routes (use FSX flight planner)

Always uses proper airlines on routes (between airport pairs, not route)

Always uses real time or weather.

I don't fly tubeliners too often...If I am going to fly a tube, it is probably a freighter. I treat airliners and freighers as my personal GA 'bizjets' if you will. I go wherever and whenever I want with them....ie Area 51 to Christchurch. I very rarely increase sim rate. For long hauls I usually do overnighters...ite take off, get to cruise alt, go to sleep, wake up...land. I always use Opus real weather.

4.5 I occasionally fly a real world route at a different time than the actual one because of the scenery (day vs. night). I also occasionally fly a 737 route with a 738 or visa versa.

I wouldn't know where to place myself:

I never increase sim rate, but I only fly short hauls.

I don't always use RW weather, I rather prefer some of the ORBX themes, which I find good, as lond as you don't need snow.

I don't use real world flight plans, but the routes that FSCommander or the default fligth planner (that depends on what plane I fly and ow lazy I am).

I always try to fly airlines which are appropriate for the region where I fly, so I'd never use an Alaska repaint for European flights, but I don't really care if the regarding airline does really fly to my destination.

I'd say about a 4.5.

I'd be a straight 5 but I don't always use real-world routes, especially for non-US flying, so I let FSBuild do its magic in those instances. If I'm flying in the US, I pretty much always get something from Flightaware, copy the route exactly (if it's shown), and use ASE to set the historical weather for about 30-min prior to departure time.

4-5. I never increase my sim rate, ever. Tbh I don't see the point in long hauls if your just gonna watch the plane fly hyper speed for the destination. Where's the beauty in fly with that?

I do 1-2 hour flights at real time.

I use real world routers 95% of the time.

Always Increases sim rate

Mostly uses real real world routes

Mostly use real world airlines

Always uses real world WX

I'm a mix of all of them :P

4.5 because I use increased sim rate for flights more then 2 hours.

#5 all day every day!

And here are some more that I do:

-Use different real-life aircraft registrations

-Log my virtual hours into my physical logbook after landing.

I didn't expect so many responses within 15 hours! Thanks for the feedback, it appears as though with VAs people are geared towards a 4.5-5 status.
