March 7, 201313 yr Hi. I just downloaded driver version 314.07 from the EVGA site, but wasn't sure if that is considered the best one for FSX with my EVGA GeForce GTX 650 Ti Superclocked GPU. Any comments on this from you sim veterans would be welcome. March 7, 201313 yr It should work just fine. Are you running the NVidia Inspector software? It will have as much impact on your graphics as the latest driver. Joe Brown
March 7, 201313 yr Jeff The latest driver from nVidia 314.07 is stable and OK in FSX. I use it with both a GTX560TI and a GTX670 with no issues. Regards pH
March 7, 201313 yr Author Thanks, guys. I didn't know about NVidia Inspector, but I will get it. Also, I was thinking of getting a 660Ti or 680 and was wondering if I would see much improvement over my 650 Ti SC (haven't even taken it out of the box yet)? March 8, 201313 yr Jeff It depends on quite a few things if you are to see an improvement with say the 680, such as screen size, number of monitors, cpu and how overclocked is it. For example in my experience, the GTX 680 could be throttled in some situations if the clock speed is say below arouind 4 GHz (arbitrary). IMHO the best value at the moment is good brand of the GTX 670 (overclocked or not) if you can get a MSI with FROSR as this aids cleaning and cooling that would be the way to go. Just an opinion. pH
