March 15, 201313 yr Hi i would like to know if MSI TWIN FROZER any good with Graphic Card an how well it performs with FSX ? If not what other brands performs good with Nvidia Graphic Card? March 15, 201313 yr Mr340, I have the MSI GTX660Ti Superclocked Twin Frozr in my new build (just last week) and have been using it with Prepared3D. I paired it with an i7 3770k OC at 4.5 GHz. So far, I really like it a lot. I set up my system using Word Not Allowed's guide (just Google Word Not Allowed's Blog) and P3D is smooth. I have all sliders to the right, although I'm sure the sliders will need to be adjusted as I add more scenery. So far, I'm very happy with my purchase. I don't know what MSI Nvidia GPU you are considering, but MSI makes a good product. EVGA is another brand to consider. I don't have any personal experience with EVGA but people who own their products like them too. Good luck with your purchase and don't overthink it too much. March 15, 201313 yr I prefer EVGA just becuase their cutomer support is awesome. However the Twin Frozr II design is probably the best stock GPU cooler on the market, and MSI does make a decent PCB.

Todd Thanks Todd, i herd that it has a superior cooling system for the card an it can be overclock well using afterburner . The reason i ask is because one of my rig in the house has a MSI TWIN FROZER GTX 560 ti 2gb . An i notice it today when i saw my brother playing battlefield 3 an i ask him how are you getting this performance using an onboard graphic card so he said he upgraded the GPU with out letting me know . So when i open the case an i saw the MSI TWIN FROZER GTX 560 ti 2gb . March 15, 201313 yr I have read a lot of complaints about coil whine on Twin Frozr cards. Search on the internet. Hi i would like to know if MSI TWIN FROZER any good with Graphic Card an how well it performs with FSX ? If not what other brands performs good with Nvidia Graphic Card?
March 16, 201313 yr I have a 1GB GTX560Ti twin Frozr II and am really happy with it, in conjunction with my 22" 1680x1050 monitor I can run FSX and any game on decent settings. I don't know whether or not the OP realises that twin frozr is not a brand of card but rather the high end cooler that MSI uses with some of their graphics cards. As to what card would suit the OP best that pretty much depends on his monitor(s) and computer spec, so perhaps he could post that info.
March 16, 201313 yr IMO, what you need in a fast graphics card is a more "open" system of cooling and one that is easy to clean. Many video cards on the market today have "closed" cooling systems and may be difficult to clean and may also run slightly hotter. That, IMHO is why the Twin Frozr series are worth considering as would any other brand that uses that type of cooling. Just an opinion pH

He is the one that did the upgrade i just was impress with the performance of the card an how cool it was even when overclock so i was asking would that be good for a future card with MSI superior cooling system . My Spec are listed already i purchase my first Nvidia GPU just the other day for the current rig am building these are my spec for the current rig am building http://forum.avsim.net/topic/402398-how-good-is-this-cpu-for-fsx/ Mr Leny CPU I7 8700K @ 5.0GHz , MOBO -Asus Maximus X Hero (WiFi AC),GPU - GTX1080 TI , RAM - CORSAIR Vengeance RGB 16GB DDR4 3600MHz SSD -Crucial MX500 1TB (P3D Install Only)OS- Samsung 960 EVO 500GB (Window 10 Pro 64)
March 16, 201313 yr Ah - OK, well when the time comes it would probably be best to have a look at what's available at that point. A lot of manufacturers have a basic low cost card and another of the same card that they have overclocked and fitted with a better cooling solution and at a later date the choice may be greater. Or you can get aftermarket coolers for graphics cards just as you can for CPUs which offer better/quiter performance than the factory fitted one, this is one of the best - http://www.hardwaresecrets.com/article/Prolimatech-MK-26-VGA-Cooler-Review/1643
March 17, 201313 yr PieEater That's a great cooler but 4 slots on the mobo - help I need a bigger case. LOL Thanks for the info I need to cool my GTX 670 down as its running quite hot. This looked like a reasonable cooler: Zalman GV-1000 Extreme VGA Cooler - 4 Heatpipe, 80mm LED Fan, Adjustable Fan Speed taking up fewer slots. This is a liquid cooler that looks promising: Arctic Cooling Accelero Hybrid LCS Cooler Regards pH
