ENB series causing CTD

Recommended Posts

Hi

I started to use ENB series today, and i noticed that when i go to menus, change weather, time etc all that stuff i get a CTD, and also when i do alt+enter

I am making fsx videos so i am always changing stuff in the menu, changing window size etc ... and it's quiet annoying because all of this are causing CTD with ENB series.

Do you know how can i fix that ? sorry for my english

Very few people have been able to run the ENB module successfully in FSX.  Either they get graphic anomalies or unexplained CTD's.  There's SweetFX which I understand is similar.  Look here in this forum for the posts related to SweetFX.  If you do install SweetFX, make sure you remove the d3d9.dll and enb.ini from the main FSX folder.

Your English is fine!

Best regards,

Jim

the only way to run enbs is not to minimize windows to tray and use fsx only in full screen (so you can't use fs passenger or modify paylods or fuel during flights and so on) otherwise you would have crash to desktop or black screen.

Thanks

Sweetfx works in DX9 ?

Yes! And I think it works ONLY in DX9

I'm running ENB in windowed mode since forever and minimizing to tray all the time... yet I never experienced black screen or CTD. Maybe I'm just lucky?

Cheers, George.

maybe because you use fsx in window mode and not in full screen. there must be some graphic problems when using full screen.

It only works in DX9 but I heard SweetFX does work in DX10.
