You are missing some cloud textures, possibly the cumulus1 file.

You can extract files from one of the 4 CDs, but I don't know which cab has the file.

Hi guys, I found the cumulus1 file and found I already had it in my texture directory, I copied all texture flights from CAB3 into my texture directory and the problem remains. I've re-installed my REX textures again and still the problem remains. I'm thinking this is more hardware related, could my graphic drivers be going?

Then it's not your drivers. Might need to do a FS re-install.

Ah ok  any tips on a good clean install for Windows 7 64-bit, 2x GeForce 8800GTX? (Dell XPS720 - 4GB RAM @ 2.66GHz./4 CPU)

Before you go to such drastic measures, change to different weather themes and/or locations to see if this anomoly exists under differing conditions.

Hi! Thank you I tried clear weather and the problem is gone so it must be a texture issue?

Now what happens if you place clouds back in the sky?
