Are you that insure of yourself that attacking the intelligence and integrity of others makes you feel better? "You can't follow through when it comes to thinking" and "do we have to break it down more for you??" are the thoughts and writings of a spoiled brat and are totally without worth in any discussion. Please, go away and come back only when you can interact with people in an intelligent way.Glenn"If God would have wanted man to fly He would have given him more money"

As well, Maxis seems to lack the maturity to understand all the smilies Anthony included in his post. And Maxis... we all thought you weren't posting to this thread any longer. Which might be the best path for you to follow.Greg

SOAR dont be a two faced wiseass .. you didnt have comment when someone flamed me.. as a matter of fact you jumped right in... now you want to advise me ??? Get over your self.. And for the record Glen .. Calling someone immature and then chastising them about Flaming at the same time is the hight of irony .. save it for someone who gives a damn.. Maybe you should take your own advice and "go away" As your postings are doing the same thing you Preach so vigourously against.. .. Ridiculous...

I'm hoping that your #1 is going to be a highlighted feature of the next version and your #2 would be greatly benefitted by using Hyper thread in the next version.

"Ill leave this thread alone now No need to respond any further"Over 6 hours later you are still here, why?

Okay everyone, please keep this civil so I don't have to do anything drastic.Thank you for your cooperation.

I have to turn off AI not to get go arounds at the>busier airports, or have other A/C pass me on final.I think this is too big to meddle with in "patch" land. However specific mention of AI and ATC issues was made in today's Microsoft Q&A for the putative "next version" -- including specifically "unnecessary AI go-arounds".--M

i cant believe i just read all of that

"IMO, FS2004 is a masterpiece anyway and fixing flaws in a mid-life upgrade is really an added bonus."While I can understand how you think (I happen to like FS2004 quite a bit myself), I still don't agree with this attitude toward the product.Just because we like the sim, why should it be exempt from normal customer services such as updates and patches? When it comes to other games and programs, we take updates for granted - with FS it's an "added bonus". Seriously, I'd really like to know why it is so.One year ago those who wanted a patch were busy trying to convince the rest of the community that FS indeed neded a patch. If people were a tad more objective toward the product instead of overlooking major flaws just because you "like" the sim, this patch might have come out 12 months earlier. You paid good money for this sim people - you have the right to complain when there's something you're not 100% satiisfied with - don't be afraid - use that right!I brought up the autogen time after time until people actually got annoyed with me saying I was beating a dead horse. In one such thread of mine someone asked what I was trying to achieve by bringing it up agan - well - THIS is what I was trying to achieve :-lol

You're right, I should have added to the topic of this post rather than metaphorically wizz in your half empty glass ;) Please allow me to rectify this.Chalk me up as one of the pleased crowd that MS decided to release an FS2004 patch. As a certified FS nut I will buy the next, and any future version of FS, the first day I can get hold of it. Whilst the patch doesn't change my strategic purchasing desires, it does make me happier with what I have now while I (im)patiently wait for the next version.Gary

... I really hope it fixes the problem of no overcast layer from above the clouds. In fact that would be the number one fix in my view.:) Best RegardsBoone,[email protected]"Flying a plane is no different from riding a bicycle. It's just a lot harder to put baseball cards in the spokes."

<>Yes, yes, and we appreciate that *you* found the bug. Just to offer an opposing viewpoint I believe I was the one to first post the workaround and I'm pleased MSFT issued the patch. Better late than never and let's have a jolly good time, I say!

I have a question:Can one e-mail suggestions to Microsoft what could be improved in FS2004 by the patch that
