Any way of turning back the clock (visually) in FSX?

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Many years ago, I can just about remember an add-on for FS9 (freeware I beleive) that changed the simulator into a rendition of the Golden Age of aviation (I think in this case the 1940s).

So some airports were changed to reflect how they were in the 40s etc.   I think this was just for Great Britain but I could be wrong.

My question is, is there anything at all for FSX that can "time travel" us back to the Golden Ages.  Something that will be more appropriate (in terms of airfields etc) for flying my DC-2, DC-3, B377, DC-6, Connie, etc in ?

Cheers.

I do not think that there is a program for FSX or a feature in FSX to turn back time.  Some people have made afcad of seleted airports that turn back time, you would have to search them out.

MyTrafficX has a feature that will turn back time for AI and fill you skys with old planes and paints.  The latest version of MTX is now MTX 5.4b Pro.

Thanks.  Yes, I have MyTrafficX and the time period setting is good.

I guess I'd need to hunt out the few historic airfields out there, to get back in time.
