April 13, 201313 yr OK, sorry for another stupid question Johann I know you answered this already. When FS loses connection does the yoke still show in control panel and work? If so I want to try something with FSUIPC Have a Wonderful Day -Paul Solk
April 13, 201313 yr Author Can you get or do you have a cheap USB 1.1 powered hub anywhere? Short of that can I connect to your PC somehow? Two last thoughts, did we ever delete the intel controllers and let them re-install and finally did you reset the powere setting on all of your USB controllers and devices to disable power mgmt after re-installing them? I bought me a 1.1 usb powered hub, but no success. We haven't tried to delete the intel controllers. What im worried about is that I have no Chipset on my usb hubs. Thank you
April 13, 201313 yr Author OK, sorry for another stupid question Johann I know you answered this already. When FS loses connection does the yoke still show in control panel and work? If so I want to try something with FSUIPC My device is shown in my control panel showing that it work fine but it does not. because the little cross do not move when yoke is moved or buttons is pressed. but on laptop it is moving.
April 13, 201313 yr going to try an extreme long shot here on the hope it is a dxinput issue. First off, when twas the last time you updated DirectX? Second, Backup your fs9.cfg file and create a new one. Go in and delete all joystick axis and buttons associated with the yoke/throttle. Configure your ailerons/elevators in FSUIPC ONLY and test. I want to see if it is Direct X related. It could just be a bad yoke but I would like to help you explore everything. Have a Wonderful Day -Paul Solk
April 14, 201313 yr Author I have the lates diretX. FSUIPC also do not get a signal from my yoke when it is turned. Yet FSx still say their is yoke but do not receive a singal from the Yoke.I tested the Yoke on my laptop. And there was no problem. Worked the whole time. But it doesnt have FSX on it
April 14, 201313 yr Now it sounds like maybe its fsx software itself maybe hit restore defaults in fsx menu just a thought maybe your fsx controllers file got messed up somehow ? Rich Sennett
April 14, 201313 yr Moderator Now it sounds like maybe its fsx software itself maybe hit restore defaults in fsx menu just a thought maybe your fsx controllers file got messed up somehow ? There's an easy way to test for that without making any changes to FSX, initially at least. Johann, open Control Panel / Game Controllers and choose the Pro Yoke. There is a calibrate option so open that and just leave it there for 20 minutes. If it lockups then it's nothing to do with FSX. Ray (Cheshire, England). April 14, 201313 yr Author I do not think it is FSX at all. Because I use the calibrate methored as Ray explained. I used it on all my pc in the house and the Yoke did not Lock UP. But in the one that was build with FSX on it and the only pC with FSX it lock's up.Do you think if I buy me a USB boared to be connected Directly into my MB will Fix it?And how are you all doing.Thank you all for your support. It means alot for me. =D<3 Johann
April 14, 201313 yr "Do you think if I buy me a USB board to be connected Directly into my MB" No you have spent enough, that will not fix it need to get a handle on what it is, send me your personal e-mail and I will send you my fsx controls file maybe yours got messed up Rich Sennett

Because saitek control panel also shows there is no movement when I move the throttles or the yoke. That little X do not move around the block when I move the yoke.. the the bars for throttles do mnot move at all when the 3 axis throttles is moved. It only work for 10 min and and then locks up. Also it did work so far 2 times for longer as 1 hour when fsx was on,
April 14, 201313 yr Did you load the motherboard usb driver go to motherboard website and get latest Rich Sennett
April 14, 201313 yr Moderator Johann, I'm returning to work tomorrow so my time here will be limited. So I'll suggest a couple of things for you to try but if they don't work then I don't think there's any more I can suggest. You probably have more than one USB port on your FSX PC. Test the yoke in each one and use Game Controllers to test if it lockups or not. Don't attach any extra throttle quadrants - just test the yoke. If it does lockup on all available USB ports then there appears to be a general problem on that PC. But my guess is that it should work okay on at least one of the ports. If we can establish that we can then add a throttle quadrant. I'll pick up replies around 5pm GMT tomorrow. Good luck! Ray (Cheshire, England). April 14, 201313 yr All good advice from everyone. As I understand it, you've already tried this (you mention it in your very first post). Confirm this is your motherboard? What's your BIOS version? If you note at version F2 they have one change "USB 3.0 chip legacy support". Not sure what this actually fixes. I downloaded that version, but unfortunately there was no readme in it. Do not update your BIOS, until you've tried every thing else first. What happens when you boot into your BIOS and disable "Onboard USB 3.0 controller".Keep your "USB Controllers" above enabled. RJ
