ALL the USB's have been tested and all failed. I even Turned off my anti virus software , but no luck as well.
Seems like my pc blocks it signal it receives from the device ..
Thank you Johann Botes

Johann,

This is all very frustrating. I would like you to take a screenshot of your Device Manager window.

Can you please do the following:-

Right-click on My Computer and choose Manage.

Select Device Manager.

On the View menu choose Devices by Connection. It's important you choose this option.

Scroll down the list to your USB devices and click the + sign against each one until you find the one that your Saitek yoke is attached to.

You will see something similar to this. Mine is different as it's attached to a USB powered hub.

Can you take a screenshot before and after the yoke locks up? It would be helpful to see if there is anything different after the yoke locks up.

Thanks.

Now im just waitng for it to lock up. Hahaha KInda weired..

Here is the attachments. I had Put my yoke upside down so that it weight push the yoke downwards, whcih caused the cross to move upwards. Whenthe yoke had no responds, the crossed stayed at its upward possion.

It's like it drivers freezes on my pc. ( attachment)

Johann,

Thanks for the screenshots. Although you didn't select view by connection in Device Manager it looks like the yoke is correctly identified.

I doubt cleaning the USB ports will make a difference but by all means try it.

In the first screenshot there is an entry called Saitek Magic Bus. What is that? I have no equivalent on my system but I haven't installed the Saitek software. Instead I use FSUIPC to control the yoke and throttles.

I wonder if that software has an option to send the yoke to sleep. Try checking the preferences. But it might be worth uninstalling Magic Bus and see if that makes the difference. You don't have Magic Bus installed on your laptop do you? And the yoke works okay on that. It might be relevant.

Although this thread has continued longer than any of us imagined I am happy to help for as long as I can think of solutions.

Hope to hear from you soon.

I installed saitek software yesterday and it came with it, hoping it will be solved,.
Im starting to think of formting my pc. As there might be a file conflickting with the yoke. Problem is yeserday was the last day to give it back.
By any change can I fly the yoke on a remote pc? use my laptopto as the steering?
