April 15, 201313 yr Moderator Hi ray. I installed saitek software yesterday and it came with it, hoping it will be solved,. Im starting to think of formting my pc. As there might be a file conflickting with the yoke. Problem is yeserday was the last day to give it back. By any change can I fly the yoke on a remote pc? use my laptopto as the steering? Thank you. =D Hi Johann, So you only installed Magic Bus yesterday - after the problem started? In that case I don't think it's responsible. In answer to your question, no, you can't control the aircraft from another PC. Formatting the hard drive is the last resort and inadvisable if you have a return option on the PC. Although you say yesterday was the last day to return it you could use discussion on this forum to prove the problem existed several days ago. Can you give me the answer to the following questions please? 1) When the yoke lockups does it show in Device Manager with yellow marks against it? That would suggest the device is no longer recognised by Windows 7. 2) When it locksup is it still listed in Game Controllers? From memory it might say 'active' against the entry. Please confirm what status is shown against the entries. After it locksup can you open Start - All Programs - Administration Tools - Event Viewer and select the Application option on the left. Now scroll down the list on the right and see if any recent entries have a yellow triangle or red X against them. If they have does the entry look related to Saitek? If we can't resolve this problem then I suggest you request a swap if one is possible. Without knowing consumer rights where you live it's difficult to give specific advice. Richard, like you I searched for Saitek Magic Bus in Google but results were not very helpful. It does appear to be official Saitek software but searching the Saitek forum didn't show much of help. I don't think it's responsible for this problem. Ray (Cheshire, England). April 15, 201313 yr Moderator Yah I searched all I came up wit his uninstall it lol looks like a rebuild might be the last resort here buddy. Well if he reformats then he's committed to keeping the PC. His option to return has gone. Johann, I forgot to mention that if you see any entries in Event Viewer that have a warning symbol against them you need to double-click the entry to see the details. Post any screenshots if you think it will help. Ray (Cheshire, England). April 16, 201313 yr Moderator Hi everyone, Sadly we couldn't get the yoke working but it does sound as though it has a fault. When you get a different PC Johann let us know if the problem is sorted out. This must be one of the longest ever threads for an unresolved problem. Well done everyone for effort! :Applause: Ray (Cheshire, England).
