April 11, 201313 yr Looks like Jon5700 has got his hands on a copy of the Enigma 737 in development and posted a video of it on youtube: Look at that gear animation, just awesome. Can't wait to get behind the wheel of a 737 Classic again! ^_^ Regards, Ró. Rónán O Cadhain.
April 11, 201313 yr Tank you for sharing. By far the best 737 classic that will be available for FSX. And 'damn' that landing gear animation is so awesome. This baby is so amazing B). - René Mosek - Future Owner Of: 'The PMDG 747-400 V3' B)
April 11, 201313 yr It just looks...stunning really. Credit to Jonathan for always giving good views of exterior models, and this video is no exception! I'm looking forward to flying this bird.

April 11, 201313 yr Author Just looking at some of the images on their page the VC looks great too: Now we just need to know what level they're going to model the systems to... ^_^ Regards, Ró Rónán O Cadhain.
April 11, 201313 yr Thanks for posting, Ró! The video and those VC shots look absolutely great. Florian
April 11, 201313 yr The plane in the video looks fantastic. The cockpit looks stunning too. I'm just wondering that it apparently contains huge number of polygons and how would that impact the FPS? 9950X3D / 64GB / RTX5090 / Pimax Crystal Light / Win11
April 11, 201313 yr Commercial Member Suspension work is absolutely amazing, like the real stuff! Best I've seen to date. Current system: ASUS PRIME Z690-P D4, Intel 12900k, 32GB RAM @ 3600mhz, Zotac RTX 3090 Trinity, M2 SSD, Oculus Quest 2.
April 11, 201313 yr Commercial Member Thank you for the kind comments everyone! In regards to the VC, as it currently stands, there are less polygons, less textures, and less drawcalls than the PMDG NGX VC (although the NG is a slightly more complex aircraft in some ways). This may change as we put more items in, but our development is very much performance orientated. There's no point having pretty graphics if you're stuck flying at 15fps. I personally try and maintain 60FPS even with decently high AI/Weather, and would be very annoyed to see that drop with my own development. I am happy to answer any questions anyone may have regarding this aircraft. Jordi Blumberg
April 11, 201313 yr Commercial Member Indeed it looks amazing, can't wait for this one to come out, I've always liked the 737 classic more than NG.
April 11, 201313 yr Author I am happy to answer any questions anyone may have regarding this aircraft. Do you know yet what kind of target area you're aiming at for the aircraft systems? PMDG/FSL level, AXE/Wilco 737 level or default? I haven't flown the 737CL in 19 years and am pretty rusty at this stage, but if yee ever get stuck or come across something not in yeer manuals feel free to fire an email off to me and I might be able to help or shed some light, though I'm sure you already have your own team of current rated 737CL pilots and engineers... Regards, Ró. It's funny you should mention that, apart from a few 'techies' our testing team is comprised fully of 737 classic captains, FOs and engineers. I don't like to talk about systems until they're actually up and running how we'd like them to be, but we are aiming for pretty in-depth systems. I doubt we'll do such things as failures (or at least to a large degree), but it won't be far off hopefully. And on that note I should probably also mention we have no intention of releasing this until it's completely finished. I don't like the new trend of "pay-as-you-go" aircraft so to speak.
