We will have to wait and see if this is a success technically. Whether it can run smoothly is the main question. Anyone can make jaw dropping visual scenery but the trick is to balance that with playability.

At what level of detail do we stop and say OK, well it's all very nice but I'm not walking through doors, or walking around the hangars, I'm actually some distance away in an aircraft. If the level of detail has no impact whatsoever, then fine, but if it has, then it seems pointless IMO. However, still a stunning job from Orbx.

I think this project is more of a phallic symbol for Orbx than a genuine attempt to make something individually profitable for them.

Entirely possible given that it's not an airport many are likely to use nor purchase IMHO.

Well of course not. You can't auto-land a 737 there, so no one will be interested.

Awsome, tought CYBD whas the last HD airport from Orbx(performance whas excellent), so this is a warm welcome. Loved the detailed 2cm/pixel of CYBD and CZST airports and glad to see they are using the tech from them and even take this step further to 1cm/pixel.
