I hate this thing!! In fact I hate all floaty things that float about on my screen

 

Please make it go away (I'm with Ron hear, AVSIM mobile is no solution although I hear flightsim.com doesn't have this floaty thing)

 

This is annoying enough to make me stop visiting AVSIM.

 

Hey - that's a bit strong innit ?

 

I cannot see one single reason why I'd stop calling in Avsim...Whatever conditions Tom insisted on for continued membership, e.g reading the forums standing on your head, converting forums to Min Nan/Marathi/Hausa or just plain Telugu I'd still visit. (I'd hafta learn the language tho').

 

Just you try and stop me !

 

Now about that pesky 'Click to return to top of this Avsim page' I find it easier to just hide it with sticky tape at the bottom of my screen... :LMAO:

Interesting idea but my sticky tape is covering up the red light on my HDD indicator.

 

We all have those individual little things that just bug us. For me it is floaty things on webpages, the "Are you sure you want to overwrite this file" dialog box that appears whenever I try to "Save a copy as..." from Corel Paint Shop Pro and the fact that I have to click OK 5 times anytime I want to copy one folder to another in Windows 7.

What a cracking idea, sticky tape! Yep, I'll put sticky tape on my screen. :rolleyes:  I thought the bloody thing had been taken away for a couple of days and very nearly posted a 'Thank you, Tom'. But it came back. :(

The blond gal at an office I once worked at would have used whiteout to hide the 'floating thing...' :LMAO:

Solution:

 

- Click on maximise button on browser to unmaximise

- Resize browser to full size

- Move browser down until annoying tag is off screen

- Stretch top of browser to top of screen.

- Switch back to maximised when viewing other websites.

I sincerely hope that we are not giving Tom an inferiority complex here....

Not quite, but a workaround at least. Solution would be an option to switch it off/on
