April 25, 201313 yr Some images from a Baron B55 flight yesterday, flying east from daylight into dusk at 11,000 ft over central North Carolina and eastern Virginia just hours after the passage of a cold front with the sun setting behind off my left shoulder. Made for some interesting views. And how do you like that pair of crossed contrails at 11 o'clock in the sky? April 27, 201313 yr FP, Most of the good stuff I see in the forum seems to be at least 1024 x yyy, where y depends on the aspect ratio. And yours are good - so I'd like to be able to see them a bit better. :-) No worries, just a suggestion as I liked 'em. Scott
April 27, 201313 yr Author Most of the good stuff I see in the forum seems to be at least 1024 x yyy Humm. I dumb mine down to 1200 x yyy from 1920 X 1080 before I upload to my photo repository at SmugMug. When I use SmugMug's tool to cut and paste an URL it provides me with sizes like v small, small, medium, large, x-large, and xx-large. Does not tell me what the resolution is for those. I usually just pick large as it seems to fit well here. Here is an X2 large of my favorite shot from that recent flight. Gains more size if you click on it. April 27, 201313 yr Excellent! Scott Edit: Meant to add that it looks like the previous ones are 800x450 for some reason. S.
April 27, 201313 yr Author looks like the previous ones are 800x450 for some reason That's a function of the SmugMug routine of providing links. The first images above (in the OP) were smaller than the set from second flight. First were SmugMug Medium. Second set was SmugMug Large. The recent image above is SmugMug X2 Large. Looked and counted. There are links to (8) sizes available ranging from Tiny to X3 Large. All of those provided from my 1200 x yyy uploads. Here is an X3 Large of one of the other shots. It appears it is the 1200 x yyy size that I uploaded. April 28, 201313 yr That's really beautiful. I like how you chose a rear perspective of the plane heading into the approaching darkness. Very strong. Dennis Trawick Screen Shot Forum Rules
