Options problem with 747-400 & F

I dunno why, but suddenly when I attempt to open the PMDG options dialog box in FS9, the sim just goes black. Any ideas???

Nope, haven't updated anything in ages - except Internet Explorer via Windows Update...

Does this happen in windowed mode or just in full screen mode ?

Full screen. I never use FS9 or FSX in windowed mode.

I have had to run in windowed mode since I got Win7 OS. If I try to run FS9 in full screen I get the symptoms you describe.
