This one sure sounds familiar. I looked at my AOTD list and didn't find it but it might be an early permanent cache. I'll have to look into that.

My curiosity got the best of me so I opened Flight and sure enough, I collected this cache on 4/16/12 as an original in game cache. At that time, it was worth 5000 points,

 

It also shows this new version as available for me to collect. So I guess we'll get to collect this one twice with different EP's.

It does sound familiar, but I have not gotten a lot of those helicopter Aerocaches, so off I went!

But, there is only one! :Thinking:  There should be two of them, the original and this new version.

 

 

 

 

:Doh:  I forgot, this is the only helo Aerocache I got way back when. But, now I have decided to wait for a helo for all the rest.

 

Since I was here, why not land at the secret radar base? :biggrin:

 

 

 

 

 

I had a good look around - it's not as if I could do this for real someday. :lol:

Yeah... I did a "double take" as well :blink2:  ... and wuz scratchin' my head on this one... :pardon:

 

It is "confirmed" that it is an earlier in-game Aerocache because the earlier possible points was 5,000.  This one was only worth about 3,000 or so.

 

btw... whaddya think of my "New" signature?  Cool huh?

@LuisFelizTirado, I landed my plane there also after collecting the Aerocache yesterday, in fact I left it parked there for the time being. :lol:
