August 15, 201411 yr Is there anything I can do to prevent this? I am using FSXA stock plane Found my answer,= learn how to land on water..
May 27, 201610 yr HOW THE HELL DO YOU LAND IT ON WATER??!! Also, it tends to be in a constant pitch up attitude no matter how I load it. What's up with that?
June 10, 20169 yr I think you have to try changing the contact points in the .cfg...I found somewhere this...have a look if works. Back up the aircraft.cfg before trying! ;/FLOATS point.3=4, 5.1, -1.8, -2.7, 2500, 0, 0.0, 0, 0.50, 2.5, 0.70, 0.0, 0.0, 5, 0, 0 point.4=4, 5.1, 1.8, -2.7, 2500, 0, 0.0, 0, 0.50, 2.5, 0.70, 0.0, 0.0, 5, 0, 0 point.5=4, -15.3, -1.8, -1.6, 2500, 0, 0.0, 0, 0.50, 2.5, 0.70, 0.0, 0.0, 5, 0, 0 point.6=4, -15.3, 1.8, -1.6, 2500, 0, 0.0, 0, 0.50, 2.5, 0.70, 0.0, 0.0, 5, 0, 0; /Wing Floats point.7=4, -2.1,-20.5, -1.0, 1500, 0, 0.0, 0, 0.50, 2.5, 0.70, 12.0, 12.0, 5, 0, 0 point.8=4, -2.1, 20.5, -1.0, 1500, 0, 0.0, 0, 0.50, 2.5, 0.70, 14.0, 14.0, 5, 0, 0 point.9=5, -6.5, 0.0, -6.0, 0, 0, 0.0, 20, 0.00, 0.0, 1.00, 0.0, 0.0, 0, 0, 0 I will try the same tonight...as I applied the new dynamics and got the SPLASH as well

I tried landing at over 120 kn and water taxiing up to 120 kn , I saw patches of paints being scraped out from the hull but no SPLASH nor CRASH
June 13, 20169 yr Another problem which unfortunately cuts all the fun is that after you apply the patch, you cannot "beach" the plane anymore. As soon as the plane touches ground it jumps out, flipping nose down and CRASH. Pretty annoying, basically limiting the operations of the plane forcing you to end flights while still in water.
