AOTD for 5/9/13 - Iditarod 21 - Elim

Recommended Posts

This is one of the interesting airports I visited just after the release of the Alaska pack. I like the approach.

Enjoy.

Thank you.

Spring has finally come to Alaska... in May! But, it is good to see all that green.

What great scenery.

I was flying with the Storm Cells Weather Theme and it gave me the correct Easterly winds for landing, but just imagine taking off into that hill. Scary.

Not only has Spring brought green vegetation, but my graphics card is also feeling the heat - 80° C.. Maybe it's time to clean out all the dust and pet hairs from the computer.

Best regards.

Luis

Just 3 more to Nome on the southern route.

The alternate Iditarod 2014 route will have 4 different checkpoints on the "northern" route.  (To be published later)

Reminds me of a newspaper cartoon Bloom County

Bill the Cat always was upchucking hairballs...hence the "ACK!" :LMAO:
