October 8, 200421 yr Well, I am not sure if to laugh or if to ask a reimbursement for the key I have already paid.I am not sure why, maybe the fact that I have inserted the WideFS key in FSUIPC, but I was trying a new AC in the main PC and suddenly weather changed. I look with surprise to my notebook and weather was being generated by wxRE and WideFS old version (freeware) connected to FS9 (??????).Leo
October 8, 200421 yr Hi,Older versions of WideFS and wxRE have always worked with FS9. Now you are helping to support Pete and all the great things his software allows us to experience in FS.Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/as2004proudsupporter.jpg
October 8, 200421 yr Ok, no intention to bother anyone here, sorry if anyone felt bad with my comment. Anyway I am surprised with that. I always thought I had to get the last version of WideFS to make it work with the last version of FSUIPC. Not really sure yet if this older version works because I bought the key or if it had worked if I hadn't.As per wxRE I really like it and I am happy it works. I thought I had to get AS2004 to have good weather in FS9.As per Pete I acknowledge FS wouldn't be not even a portion of what it is. Hey, I support him buying his stuff first thing when I get my FS9.Leo
October 8, 200421 yr I think I know the answer about WideFSThe module I installed in FS9 module folder is the new one and the key makes it work. You don't need to set anything in the secondary PC since it reads any WideFS module in the main computer once it is installed there and enabled to work once the key is entered in FSUIPC.Sorry about the misunderstanding, and again I am happy wxRE works in FS9 too ;).Leo
