Ok...here's the fix.

1.  Get Al Wheeler's airport any of them for KSBA but this one should probably do:  http://www.flightsim.com/vbfs/fslib.php?do=copyright&fid=132076

2.  Put KSBA ABOVE before it in priority in the scenery list.

3.  Put KSBA BELOW after it in the priority list.

Absolute perfection.  Helps if you read the  readme files sometimes.  I did this and now the airport is absolutely perfect.  One tower, no duplicate signs.  Love the distance markers...how rare is that!

I'll give that a try tonight.  I did try putting the Blue Sky KSBA in between "Above" and "Below" just in case, but that didn't seem to work.

Well, this is embarrassing.

My problems could be summed up thusly - "Dyslexics of the world, Untie!"  It's funny how you can look at something repeatedly and see what you expect to see, not what's really there.  I had "Above" and "Below" reversed.  Simple as that.  No more dupes - one tower.  Happy!

Looking forward to flying in SoCal tonight, as I also DL'ed the update to Cities X LA which fixes the elevation issues at many LA area airports when used with MegaScenery X SoCal.

Glad we were able to sort it out.  It'd be nice to fill in the other areas around.

And another quick follow-up - Santa Ynez is also quite nice with this setup.

So I got to looking at some of Al Wheeler's other work, and I wonder if you've done any experimenting with any of these.  It looks like most of his stuff is designed to blend with the old Megascenery Earth California tiles along with FSGenesis mesh.  Probably won't work well with the newer Blue Sky that I'm using here, I'm guessing.  The package you recommended which has Santa Barbara and Santa Ynez (sbafsxph.zip) seems to be the only one he did designed to blend with Gottfried's older stuff (and seems to work well with the newer once a couple of the BS AFCADs are disabled).

I wish there were more.  Very good stuff, this, and it really adds to the enjoyment of the photoscenery.

Addons based on photoscenery probably will work with any photoscenery regarding to positioning as every such product is very accurate in contrast to default FS.

So AFCADs or autogen can be used on any product. Coloring might be another story.

Thanks, Gottfied - that's good to know.  I might give some of these others a try, then.
