FS9 Patch uninstall?

Recommended Posts

Guest IflyB717

Hi all! I was wondering how you go about uninstalling the Fs9 patch. I had a hiccup at the dislay config flile during installation and i cancelled the installation. I tried to re-install the patch and it told me that the patch already appeared to be installed and would not let me install it over itself. I am sure that i didnt get the whole thing installed so need to figure out how o remove it then re-install it. nay help would be appreciated! Thanks! Mike

If you don't have a BACKUP folder in your root FS2004 directory, you are hosed. You'll need to reinstall FS2004 from scratch.

Thanks Bill....did that...but before going to bed, I noticed it wouldn't uninstall even that way. I took a different tack. I took the dlls from the FS disc and completely replaced my modules folder. Result: no more start up error messages and a good night's sleeo.:-)
