May 17, 201313 yr Ahem! Nothing...yet. http://forums.x-pilot.com/topic/621-boeing-747-400/ Aha! I remember a little birdie whispering something to me about that. How's it coming along? EDIT- Waitaminute... don't you have a Saab to work on? :Shame On You: :Tounge: "No matter how eloquent you are or how solidly and firm you've built your case, you will never win in an argument with an idiot, for he is too stupid to recognize his own defeat." ~Anonymous.
May 17, 201313 yr Commercial Member The 747 is moving ahead slowly. I can't say much about it at the moment except there is a lot of programming involved. Saab is getting very close. Lot's of internal testing happening atm and the last of the sounds are getting added.
May 17, 201313 yr I believe PMDG are creating The easier systems wise DC-6 for both platforms simultaneously,This would explain the delay with the FSX Version and be a much easier aircraft to break into X-Plane with. ***Great to see you posting here Goran,It's been awhile,You must be very busy*** 100%75%50%d8a34be0e82d98b5a45ff4336cd0dddc Patrick
May 17, 201313 yr ***Great to see you posting here Goran,It's been awhile,You must be very busy*** Yeah Goran, nice to see you. Now get back to work, we want that Saab by 10.30....AM or PM, up to you.
May 17, 201313 yr I'm guessing they'll use a "low risk" project like the JS41 to enter the X-Plane market. It's made to be a "lite" plane, so I'm guessing the effort needed to turn it to X-Plane will be smaller than one of the more prestigious projects. But would I buy a JS41? I'm guessing that depends how the LES Saab340 turns out. They look like very similar planes. The Saab340 is supposed to be a "study" simulator. I'll choose that over a lite plane anytime (so long as the engine sounds are convincing) That said, I've flown on Eastern Airways JS41's in real life more than any other aircraft, and with its big passenger windows, it's one of my favourite planes.

May 17, 201313 yr I don't own the 777 but from what I've heard and seen, I think 'horrible' might be too strong a word. it's not all that great.. some really odd systems logic. in that bird. You know that J.Rollon from X-Aviation has made a Brilliant JS-32 for X-Plane,Right? http://www.x-aviation.com/catalog/jetstream-p-92.html?osCsid=4600e595417da05e5928640a592834ab 100%75%50%d8a34be0e82d98b5a45ff4336cd0dddc Patrick

May 17, 201313 yr You know that J.Rollon from X-Aviation has made a Brilliant JS-32 for X-Plane,Right? Yes, but it's not the same as a JS41. I know every little sound that a JS41 makes. Right down to the way the props briefly spin up as the fuel levers are cut-off.The JS32 has different engines and therefore sounds different. If I can have a JS41 in x-plane that sounds just like the real thing, I'll be a happy man.
May 17, 201313 yr Moderator I really hope it is the 777. I don't like ramzzess 777 for X-Plane much. The cockpit looks horrible, even after the 1.4 update. I'm hoping PMDG will start jumping on the X-Plane bandwagon soon. We really need high quality planes with amazing detail. Thank god Carenado is there, now we need PMDG. This plane is pretty good, and performs well. Have you tried turning up your texture resolution settings, it looks good on my system
