Hi,

After I recently updated my router firmware I couldn't connect to FSX anymore. I have AS2012 on a networked computer and I suspected the DHCP server of my router had given out new IP addresses all around and it had.

However after updating the IP address in both the Simconnect.xml (server) and Simconnect.cfg (client) I still can't connect to FSX.

All shares seem to be working fine.

Hopefully somebody here will have an idea ?

regards

Martin

There have been many reports of internal firewalls (internal to the router) blocking simconnect connections. I had this issue myself. I disabled the internal firewall of the router aswell as allowed port exceptions in the router settings (needless to say, the port that simconnect uses)

After that, no issues
