Problems after reinstall

After a hardware update, I had problems with my FSX, Captain Sim aircraft would not work or reinstall, well after weeks of work, and a fresh FSX install, they're fixed.  My Level D 767 works fine as well. Now my PMDG MD11 and 747 won't work right,  nothing seems to respond to mouse clicks on the panels or pedestals. Also the PMDG line on the add on tab on the FSX menu bar is gone.  I've reinstalled twice with no luck.  I have the boxed versions distributed by aerosoft and a downloaded LCF upgrade for the 747.

This sounds a little bit like a corrupted dll.xml file to me.

If this does not help or you are not able to modify the file yourself, I think Ryan offered to help on a case to case basis via customer support.
