SMOKE UNDERNEATH AIRCRAFT AFTER SHUTDOWN

Hi,

 

After I shut down the aircraft completely, there seems to be what looks like a contrail or smoke coming from underneath the aircraft.  Never noticed this before.  Anyone any ideas?

Sometimes, if the ramp is wet/snowy, the sim will trigger that effect for rain/snow (as applicable), and sometimes it gets stuck on.  I've just deleted the effect to ensure it doesn't come up and get stuck.  I'm drawing a blank on the effect name however.

If this is what you're experiencing, a couple posts below the link is a file from the AVSIM library that should fix the issue.

Looked for the fix in Avsim Library but couldn't finf it.  Anyone know what to change in the config file?

Hi Rob,

 

go to the avsim library. Search for "Effects Pack V 1.2" by Keven M.L (there are 5 fx files in it)

 

I located it yesterday but haven't had the opportunity to install and test it yet.

Avsim library showed no results for the file.  Any other ideas?

Hi Rob , Just search in library for    Keven Menard  . As Steve said before look for Effects Package 1.2  . About the third down   . Hope this helps
