May 25, 201313 yr Just flew from Honolulu Intl to Kaneohe, using both the flight plan and procedures I programmed on the TBM850's G1000. I've never programmed procedures on other FSX Garmins, so was rather astonished it was both easy to enter and fly them, here, including executing missed approach and having the hold racetrack onscreen. Switched to default FSX scenery. Almost flew into a mountain while enroute and fiddling with the G1000. Landing was smooth and easy, at 75 knots, and reverse thrust was minimally needed. Takes a bit longer to kick in than on a pure jet. Only glitch was the ATC potheads at Kaneohe sent me to refueling instead of parking when I clearly requested parking! Oh well, airport wasn't very busy.
