Where do you find the takeoff speeds for the B-52 Driver?

If the only answer is the graph on page 14 of the Normal Procedures manual, can someone please walk me through how to use it?

Hi Foibles,

You got it, use S2 speed table on page 14. S2=unstick. Using the example found at the top of the page, total weight being 360 000lbs (for example), find this weight value on the lower horizontal table axis, then from that point, vertically reach the "unstick" curve (the upper one). At the intersection of 360 000lbs with the unstick curve, find the corresponding S2 speed value on the vertical table axis (at left). You find a value of 139 knots IAS. Perform take off roll and rotate at about unstick minus 10 knots (S2-10Kts).

Hope this will help!

Rick
